Mumbai, Apr 18: A major new pan-India project starring Salman Khan and Nayanthara officially began production on Saturday with a traditional pooja ceremony, marking the start of one of the most anticipated films in recent times.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the film—currently referred to as #SVC63—brings together the Bollywood superstar and the acclaimed South Indian actress for the first time.

The project was launched with a muhurtham ceremony in Mumbai, followed by the commencement of a large-scale shooting schedule. Sources indicate that filming has begun on specially constructed sets in the city, where high-octane action sequences and key scenes will be shot over the coming weeks.

Nayanthara is expected to join the shoot soon, with the film promising strong, performance-driven roles for both leads. Known for blending emotional depth with commercial appeal, Vamshi Paidipally is said to have crafted a story that highlights both action and character arcs.

Sharing his excitement, the director announced the start of the project on social media, signaling the beginning of what is being positioned as a high-energy action drama with broad appeal.

The film, which was officially announced earlier this year, has already generated significant buzz within the industry and among fans. It is being planned for a grand theatrical release in 2027, with more details about the cast and technical crew expected to be revealed soon.

Vamshi Paidipally, known for his work on Maharshi and collaborations with top stars like Mahesh Babu and Prabhas, brings a proven track record of delivering large-scale entertainers.

For Salman Khan, whose filmography includes blockbusters like Dabangg, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Sultan, the film represents a fresh collaboration and a new creative direction.

With a strong team and a high-profile cast, the project is already being viewed as one of the biggest cinematic ventures lined up for 2027.
