Haryana, Apr 21: Deepak Godara, an economics faculty at Gyansidhi Classes in Neem Ka Thana, has secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 92 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024, achieving the feat in his fifth attempt.
Once known for teaching the Indian economy to his students, Deepak is now set to take on a larger role in shaping it at the national level through civil services.
An engineering graduate by background, Deepak chose Sanskrit Literature as his optional subject, citing its concise syllabus and scoring potential. His journey reflects a blend of strategic planning and perseverance. Though he had studied Sanskrit only up to class 8, he later strengthened his command over the subject by mastering grammar through coaching and continued with focused self-study.

A key aspect of his preparation was refining his answer-writing skills, particularly for the Mains examination. He sought mentorship for essay writing and overall strategy, which played a crucial role in improving his performance.
Deepak’s success stands as an example of consistent effort, adaptability, and the importance of guided preparation in cracking one of India’s toughest competitive examinations.
