KE Konnect 2.0 creates platform for business, networking and community engagement

Media Release

Bengaluru, Apr 21: Building on the grand success of last year, KE Konnect 2.0 returned bigger, more vibrant, and more engaging than ever before. Hosted at The Capitol, Bengaluru, the event brought together 200+ attendees, creating a high-energy space for business, networking, and community bonding.

With 33 curated stalls, the venue was buzzing with activity from AI tools and travel experiences to home interiors, art, and lifestyle offerings. The scale of participation extended beyond the main hall, with the outdoor spaces equally alive, reflecting the growing momentum of the KE business ecosystem.

Adding to the excitement were 40 prizes and curated vouchers, including a bumper prize, along with exclusive offerings from member businesses. Early arrivals were rewarded, as members gathered ahead of the inauguration, setting the tone for an evening where networking met opportunity and rewards.

The event seamlessly blended structure with spontaneity. A relaxed high tea created the perfect environment for conversations to flow, while the Business Expo ensured continuous engagement across stalls.

One of the most anticipated segments of the evening, Housie, saw complete focus in the room as numbers were called out by Bosco, building suspense and excitement leading up to the grand prize. The segment brought together thrill, participation, and celebration hallmarks of the KE community spirit.

The second half of the evening elevated the experience even further. An electrifying drum circle session by Afro Drum Circle transformed the audience into performers, as members joined in to create synchronized rhythms, making it one of the most memorable highlights of the event.

This was followed by a vibrant live music performance by KE members Coreen D’Souza Fareed, Luvena Rangel, Sabitha Lasrado, Sangeeth Rego, Sharon Chang, and Thomas Manil Rego, where a mix of Konkani favourites and English hits kept the energy high and the audience fully engaged. This was followed by Live Band DREAMTONEZ and they had the crowd dancing till the end.

The evening was seamlessly anchored by emcees Deon Gomes, Andrea D’Souza, and Rishika Miranda, who kept the flow dynamic and engaging throughout. A dedicated team of volunteers—Ann Attavar, Anitha Gomes, Elton D’Souza, Rohan Pereira, Antony Gonsalves, Manil Rego, Sangeeth Rego and Luvena Rangel played a key role in ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for participants.

Behind the scenes, a committed organising team comprising the board of directors, lead member Jyoti Menezes, and admin Jennifer Cruze ensured efficient execution while fostering an environment that supported exhibitor engagement and business interactions.

The true impact of the event was reflected in the feedback from exhibitors and participants. One first-time exhibitor shared their experience, “The entire event was organised perfectly. I was nervous as it was my first time exhibiting outside an art event, but the support I received from the team to fellow members was incredible. It truly felt like a community coming together.”

Another participant highlighted the engagement and innovation, “The event felt exactly how KE Konnect is meant to be. The drum session was a standout, I couldn’t stay at my stall and had to join in! The idea of getting signatures from stall owners ensured meaningful interactions and gave everyone a chance to showcase their work.”

The evening concluded with a grand dinner, offering members the perfect opportunity to unwind, deepen connections, and reflect on a day filled with meaningful interactions.

With strong participation, engaging experiences, and tangible business opportunities, KE Konnect 2.0 was not just an event, it was a celebration of entrepreneurship, collaboration, and community.
