Devika Priyadarshini scripts success in first attempt, secures AIR 95 in UPSC

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 27: Devika Priyadarshini secured All India Rank 95 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 results, emerging as one of Kerala’s top performers and bringing pride to the state.

Devika is the daughter of engineer J Ayyappan Pillai and P R Radhika Priyadarshini, a teacher at Kadampattukonam High School. The family hails from Thiruvathira near Chathannoor Post Office. Her husband, M J Aravind, is a pilot with Qatar Airways. The couple is currently residing at Sreedhanya, Valiyavila, Thirumala, Thiruvananthapuram, which is Aravind’s residence. She cleared the prestigious examination in her first attempt, marking an impressive achievement.

Devika pursued her higher education in Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Thiruvananthapuram. She chose Malayalam Literature as her optional subject for the Civil Services examination.

Devika had committed two straight years to her effort, dedicating eight to ten hours daily.

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is considered one of the toughest competitive exams in the country, and Devika’s outstanding rank has made her an inspiration to aspiring civil servants across the state.
