Mumbai, May 1: Actor Deepika Padukone, who recently announced her second pregnancy, has resumed work without delay and is currently shooting for Shah Rukh Khan-starrer King, with pictures from the film’s South Africa schedule creating a buzz online.

Leaked visuals from Cape Town, which surfaced on social media, show Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan walking hand in hand, reportedly filming a song sequence. Deepika is seen in a floral-print gown, while Shah Rukh sports a casual printed shirt paired with his signature salt-and-pepper look. The duo’s chemistry has drawn widespread praise from fans across platforms.

Social media users lauded the visuals, with many appreciating the styling and screen presence of the actors. While Deepika’s elegance caught attention, Shah Rukh Khan, who is set to appear in an action-packed role, was also praised for his appearance at the age of 60.

The development comes days after Deepika and her husband Ranveer Singh announced they are expecting their second child. The couple shared the news through a social media post featuring their daughter, drawing congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities alike.

Despite her pregnancy, Deepika is said to be continuing work on her projects, including King and another film titled Raaka. Sources indicate that necessary precautions are being taken during filming, even as the actor participates in demanding sequences.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King features a star-studded cast including Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film marks Suhana Khan’s theatrical debut and is slated for release on December 24, 2026.
