Bantwal, May 5: A car driver had a narrow escape after his vehicle lost control and plunged into a roadside drain at Poilodi near Bantwal on Tuesday, May 5 morning.
The driver, identified as Lakshman Gowda, a resident of Chikkamagaluru, sustained minor injuries in the accident.
He is reported to be out of danger.
According to the police, the mishap occurred while he was travelling from Chikkamagaluru towards Mangaluru.
