Mangaluru: ‘YenCareer X-26’ mega campus drive held at Yenepoya campus

Mangaluru, May 6: A vibrant wave of opportunity swept through the Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce and Management (YIASCM) as it hosted its mega campus drive, ‘YenCareer X-26’, under the ‘Yen Career Connect’ initiative at its Kuloor campus.

The event commenced on an inspiring note with the Vice Chancellor of Yenepoya (Deemed-to-be University), Dr K S Gangadhara Somayaji, lighting the ceremonial lamp. Addressing a hall filled with aspiring graduates, he highlighted the growing importance of blending academic knowledge with practical, job-oriented skills. He stressed that platforms like these are not just recruitment drives but stepping stones that shape students’ futures in a competitive global arena.

He further pointed out that skill-based education empowers youth to confidently step into the professional world and seize global opportunities, making them industry-ready from day one.

The programme witnessed the presence of eminent academicians including principal Prof Jeevan Raj, vice principal and dean Prof Shareen P, vice principal Narayan Sukumar A, and placement manager Dr Sajan M, along with faculty members and students.

With enthusiastic participation and a dynamic atmosphere, ‘Yen Career X’ turned into a powerful platform where ambition met opportunity. The campus buzzed with energy as students engaged with potential employers, explored career pathways, and took confident steps toward their professional journeys.
