Mumbai, May 13: Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma has made a return to the screen after a long break, appearing in a new advertisement campaign for jewellery brand Heer by GIVA.

The ad, released on YouTube on May 12, quickly grabbed attention online, with fans expressing excitement over seeing the actress back on screen after several years.

The campaign was also shared across Instagram and Reddit, where social media users flooded the comment sections with reactions praising Anushka’s appearance and screen presence.

“Prettiest girl in the world seen you after so long time,” one fan commented on Instagram, while another wrote, “Damn, seeing her on screen after a really long time.”

Several admirers also praised the actor for her appearance and confidence, especially after becoming a mother of two.

However, the ad also sparked discussions online after some users pointed out changes in her facial appearance. Comments such as “She is looking different” and “Something is off about her face” surfaced on social media, while others defended the actress and criticised unnecessary scrutiny over ageing and motherhood.

Many fans came out in support of Anushka, saying she looked “stunning” and remained as graceful as ever.

Anushka has largely stayed away from acting projects in recent years, focusing instead on her family life and production ventures. She has frequently been spotted supporting her husband, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, during major cricket matches and tournaments.

The actress was last seen in the 2018 film Zero, alongside Shah Rukh Khan.

She is next expected to appear in Chakda Xpress, a biographical sports drama based on former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The film reportedly completed shooting in 2022, though its release date is yet to be announced.
