Mumbai, May 18: The trailer of upcoming film Peddi starring Ram Charan was unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai, generating strong excitement among fans ahead of its worldwide release next month.

Also featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and Shiva Rajkumar, the film has been creating buzz for months through its posters, songs and teaser glimpses.

The trailer offers a deeper look into the world of the film, which blends emotion, action, sports and rural life. While earlier promotional material introduced Ram Charan as Peddi Pehlwan and a cricketer, the trailer reveals multiple avatars of the actor linked to different sports.

Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma also appear in emotionally layered roles, adding further intrigue to the storyline.

The film has already begun drawing international attention, with reports stating that advance bookings in North America crossed the $100,000 mark within hours.

A major talking point among fans has been Ram Charan’s physical transformation and varied looks in the film, ranging from a village cricketer to the intense Peddi Pehlwan.

The music composed by A. R. Rahman has also contributed significantly to the film’s popularity. The song “Chikiri Chikiri” has reportedly crossed 200 million views, while “Rai Rai Raa Raa” continues to trend online.

Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is backed by Mythri Movie Makers along with Sukumar Writings, Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment.

The technical crew includes cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, editor Navin Nooli and production designer Avinash Kolla.

‘Peddi’ is scheduled for a global premiere on June 3, followed by its theatrical release worldwide on June 4.
