Udupi, May 23: Faculty development program (FDP) was conducted at Madhava Kripa School, Manipal.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr Sreedhara R Pai, administrative officer of the Academy of General Education. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the importance of continuous learning and professional development for educators to keep pace with the evolving educational landscape.

The workshop featured an insightful session by Dr Sudhakar Nayak, former dean of KMC and a distinguished lecturer in the department of biochemistry. He provided a deep and meaningful understanding of life values, highlighting their significance in shaping both educators and students. His session encouraged teachers to integrate moral and ethical values into their teaching practices, thereby nurturing well-rounded individuals.

The event was graced by the presence of principal Swati Kulkarni, vice principals Jyothi Santhosh and Kasturi, and headmistress Asha Nayak. Their presence added value to the occasion and reflected the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
