Chennai, May 26: The makers of the upcoming Tamil family entertainer Blast have revealed actor Arjun Chidambaram’s character from the film ahead of its theatrical release on May 28.

Production house AGS Entertainment shared the update on social media, introducing the actor as “Abraham” from the world of Blast.

Directed by Subhash K Raj, the film features Arjun Sarja, Priety Mukhundhan and Abhirami in the lead roles.

The film has already received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board ahead of its release. Earlier this year, the makers had announced the completion of shooting through a behind-the-scenes video shared online, showing the cast and crew celebrating the wrap-up on set.

Blast has generated considerable attention within the Tamil film industry, especially after AGS Entertainment’s recent commercial successes with Love Today and Dragon.

One of the major highlights of the project is the Tamil cinema debut of acclaimed music composer Ravi Basrur, who is widely known for his work in the blockbuster KGF franchise.

Industry sources describe the film as a wholesome family entertainer packed with emotion, action and commercial elements.

Director Subhash K Raj had previously worked as an assistant director under Pradeep Ranganathan, who played a key role in the success of both Love Today and Dragon.

The film’s supporting cast includes Vivek Prasanna, John Kokken, Arjun Chidambaram, Pawan, Dileepan, Vinod Sagar and Bala Hasan R in important roles.

On the technical side, the film features cinematography by Arun Radhakrishnan and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. Action choreography has been handled by Phoenix Prabhu, while costume design is by Dinesh Manoharan.

The project is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment, with Archana Kalpathi serving as Creative Producer and Aishwarya Kalpathi as Associate Creative Producer.
