Mumbai, May 29: The makers of the upcoming Hindi film Uttar Da Puttar, starring veteran actor Annu Kapoor, have officially announced the film’s theatrical release date. The movie is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on July 24, 2026.

Directed and written by Ravinder Siwach, the film explores themes centred around Vastu and destiny, offering what the makers describe as a fresh and unconventional narrative for Hindi cinema audiences.

The project features a strong ensemble cast including Rukhsar Rehman, Brijendra Kala, Pavan Malhotra, Ishtiyak Khan, Jeeveshu Ahluwalia, Rajendra Sethi, Sumit Gulati, and Nitin Arora alongside Annu Kapoor.

The story has been penned by Sandiip Kapur, who is also producing the film along with Priya Kapur under the banner of Promodome Motion Pictures.

With the announcement, Uttar Da Puttar has officially secured a place in the July 2026 Bollywood release calendar.

Annu Kapoor, one of Hindi cinema’s most respected and versatile character actors, continues to remain active across films, television, radio, and live performances.

He was last seen in Luv Ki Arrange Marriage, a comedy-drama that explored unconventional relationships and family dynamics with humour and emotion.

Over a career spanning more than four decades, Kapoor has built a reputation for effortlessly handling comedy, drama, satire, and hosting. He is known for acclaimed performances in films such as Vicky Donor, Mr. India, 7 Khoon Maaf, and Dream Girl 2.

Apart from acting, Kapoor enjoys immense popularity for his storytelling abilities on radio and television. His recent appearance in the comedy entertainer Non Stop Dhamaal alongside Rajpal Yadav and Manoj Joshi further showcased his enduring screen presence and comic timing.

With Uttar Da Puttar, audiences can expect another distinctive performance from the veteran actor in a film that aims to blend humour, emotions, and destiny-driven storytelling.
