Beltangady: Accused remanded to judicial custody in Yatheesh Gowda murder case

Beltangady, Jun 3: Three accused persons have been remanded to judicial custody in connection with the murder of Yatheesh Gowda, which took place on Monday at Aladikottige in Guruvayanakere.

The accused — Yashodhara (35), a resident of Mithabagilu in Beltangady, Mohan (30), a resident of Charvaka in Kadaba, and Ibrahim (54), a resident of Padangady in Beltangady — were produced before the Beltangady court on Tuesday. The court ordered that they be remanded to judicial custody.

According to the police, Yatheesh Gowda's brother had lodged a complaint alleging that the accused assaulted Yatheesh and murdered him.
