‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?’ marks 15 years, Sanaya Irani celebrates with fans

Mumbai, Jun 6: Popular television drama Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? completed 15 years on Saturday, prompting actress Sanaya Irani to celebrate the milestone with fans through a special social media interaction.

To mark the occasion, Sanaya, who played the beloved character Khushi Kumari Gupta in the series, participated in a fun rapid-fire session featuring 15 questions—one for each year since the show's premiere. The actress shared several clips online, answering questions about her experience on the set, her rapport with co-stars, memorable moments from filming, and behind-the-scenes anecdotes.

During the interaction, she also reflected on how she felt when she first learned that the show was coming to an end, while revisiting some of the memories that made the drama a fan favourite.

Expressing gratitude for the enduring affection shown by viewers over the years, Sanaya shared a heartfelt message on social media, thanking fans for keeping the show's legacy alive and for continuing to cherish its characters long after it went off air.

The series featured Barun Sobti opposite Sanaya, with the actor portraying Arnav Singh Raizada. The on-screen chemistry between the two leads played a major role in the show's popularity and lasting appeal.

Produced by Gul Khan, Nissar Parvez and Rajesh Chadha under the banner of 4 Lions Films, the romantic drama aired on StarPlus from June 2011 to November 2012.

Directed by Nissar Parvez, Maan Singh, Arshad Khan and Lalit Mohan, the show also featured a strong supporting cast, including Dalljiet Kaur, Utkarsha Naik, Abha Parmar, Sana Makbul, Karan Goddwani, Abhaas Mehta and Akshay Dogra among others.
