Mumbai, Jun 12: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has expressed pride in India's growing global stature, saying the country is no longer perceived as a “soft” or “weak” nation and describing the phrase “India anti-fragile” as a fitting reflection of its strength.

In a post on his personal blog, the veteran actor said he recently came across the term and found it particularly meaningful in the context of India's progress and resilience.

Bachchan said India is no longer viewed as a nation that is vulnerable, easily threatened or easily broken. He added that the country has emerged stronger and more confident, a development that fills him with pride.

The actor wrote that India is now seen as a tough and resilient nation, no longer carrying the image of fragility that may have existed in the past.

On the professional front, Bachchan is reportedly set to feature in filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari's ambitious project Ramayana: Part 1, alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol. Reports suggest he will portray the role of Jatayu in the epic adaptation.

He is also working on the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.

Earlier this week, Bachchan also shared his thoughts on television serials, noting how compelling narratives often draw viewers emotionally into the lives of fictional characters. He remarked that audiences frequently develop preferences for certain characters and become invested in how their stories unfold, sometimes wishing the plot would align with their own expectations and emotions.
