Kadaba, Jun 20: A woman was found dead and her husband was found hanging inside their rented house at Kaje in Alankaru village under the Kadaba police station limits on June 20.
According to a complaint filed by Sumalatha (42), a resident of Alankaru, her relatives Dinesh and his wife Sangeetha (40) were residing with their child in a rented house at Kaje. On the morning of June 20, family members from Sangeetha's parental home tried to contact her over the phone but received no response.

Following this, the complainant's husband went to the house to check on the couple and found the door locked from the inside. Later, the complainant and others opened the door and discovered Dinesh hanging inside the house.
Sangeetha was found lying in a pool of blood inside the house. Both were found dead.
Based on the complaint, police suspect that Dinesh may have killed his wife Sangeetha with a weapon following a family dispute before ending his own life.
A case has been registered at Kadaba police station under Crime No. 77/2026 under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) in connection with Sangeetha's death.
