Mumbai, Jul 5: Actor Akanksha Chamola became emotional in the latest episode of Lock Upp Season 2 after alleging that fellow contestant Shreya Kalra disclosed her personal secret on the reality show without her consent.

The episode also marked the return of host Kangana Ranaut and featured the season's first elimination.

During the episode, Akanksha broke down after being shown a video in which Shreya allegedly revealed details about her sexuality while speaking to another contestant.

Asked by host Riteish Deshmukh to address the issue, Akanksha publicly shared that she had identified as bisexual before her marriage.

She said she had been in relationships with a few women before getting married, although she clarified that they were not deeply intimate relationships.

Akanksha added that she has always admired and felt attracted to women, saying she found a sense of safety and emotional comfort around them.

Reflecting on her upbringing, she said she had always felt more secure with women, particularly her mother and sister, and described her feelings as being rooted in "pure love" rather than labels assigned by society.

Hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan praised Akanksha for speaking openly about her personal life.

After being declared safe from elimination through the contestants' votes, Akanksha confronted Shreya inside the house, accusing her of betraying her trust.

She alleged that Shreya had overheard a private backstage conversation and later used the information during the game despite not being part of the original discussion. Calling the act insensitive and a betrayal, Akanksha warned fellow contestants to be cautious in trusting Shreya.

Akanksha was recently in the news after revealing during the Lock Upp Season 2 premiere that she and her husband, actor Gaurav Khanna, had separated and had been living apart for the past year.
