Media Release

Mangaluru, Jul 14: The Kindergarten section of St Theresa's School, Bendur, joyfully celebrated the 106th Foundation Day of the Bethany Congregation with devotion and enthusiasm, honouring the inspiring legacy of the Congregation.

The programme began with a warm welcome to the Bethany Sisters, followed by a brief introduction on the significance of the Foundation Day. The LKG children offered special prayers for the management and the Bethany Sisters, and a prayer song created a serene atmosphere.

The UKG children presented a graceful welcome dance, while the Pre-KG and LKG children delighted the gathering with lively action songs.

A highlight of the celebration was a meaningful skit by the UKG children portraying the life and mission of the Servant of God, Fr Raymond Francis Camillus (RFC) Mascarenhas, Founder of the Bethany Congregation. The children beautifully depicted the Congregation's mission of spreading God's love through education, healthcare, social service, and humanitarian outreach.

The students expressed their love and gratitude by offering flowers to the Bethany Sisters. Addressing the gathering, the principal, Sr Lourdes BS, encouraged the children to practise the values of love, prayer, kindness, and service in their daily lives.

The celebration concluded with the singing of the Bethany Anthem, leaving everyone inspired by the rich heritage and noble mission of the Bethany Congregation.
