Newark, Jul 19: Four people were injured in a shooting at the parking lot of a Waffle House restaurant in Newark, Delaware, early Saturday, according to the Delaware State Police.
Police said troopers responded to the restaurant shortly after midnight following reports of gunfire and found three victims with gunshot wounds in the parking area.
The injured included a 20-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, all of whom were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A fourth victim, a 17-year-old girl, was later taken to hospital in a private vehicle. Her injuries were also reported to be non-life-threatening.
According to investigators, one or more unidentified suspects opened fire from within a large crowd gathered in the parking lot before fleeing the scene.
Delaware State Police spokesperson Master Cpl Lewis W Briggs III said no arrests had been made and the investigation was continuing.
Police have appealed to members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist the investigation.
