Bengaluru, Aug 29: Kannada cinema’s ‘Divine Star’ Rishab Shetty has earned a place among India’s top 100 celebrities featured in the prestigious Forbes India Showstoppers 2026 special edition.

Rishab Shetty’s growing influence on Indian cinema and the pan-India success of his films are said to have contributed to his inclusion in the coveted list.

Adding to the achievement, Rishab Shetty is the only personality to feature in all three categories — actor, director and writer. His recognition across these three creative fields marks a significant milestone for Kannada cinema.

His directorial and acting venture Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1, produced under the Hombale Films banner, went on to achieve massive success at the worldwide box office. The film reportedly crossed the Rs 800-crore mark and emerged as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2025, surpassing the collections of the big-budget Bollywood film Chhaava.

With his latest recognition by Forbes India, Rishab Shetty has further strengthened his position as one of the prominent names to emerge from the Kannada film industry and make an impact on the national stage.
