Los Angeles, Apr 18 (IANS): Actor Robert Pattinson's shirtless pictures in the newspapers have left the "Twilight" star upset.
The pictures were taken when the 25-year-old was enjoying paddle-boarding in Malibu, and at present he doesn't have a chiselled enough physique to show off his chest, reports contactmusic.com.
"He's really insecure about his shirt being off," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.
He is believed to have taken up paddle-boarding sport after being urged by girlfriend Kristen Stewart to lose a few pounds.
"Robert's put on nearly 10 lbs eating cheeseburgers and drinking beer while he's not been working. Kristen's told him to pull himself together. He hates the gym, so she's encouraged him to take up paddle surfing to try and work off the excess calories," the source added.
