Muscat, May 15: Tulu Nadu drama lovers from Muscat would flock together at Le Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel to watch a comedy drama “Dada Malperapundu”, on Thursday, May 17, 2012.
The hilarious and non-stop comedy play will be presented by a highly talented and versatile team of artists of Lakumi Group from Mangalore, led by Kishore D Shetty.
Lakumi Group has already presented over 100 shows of “Dada Malperapundu” all over India as well as in Gulf. The story revolves around the helplessness of humans against the fury of nature or Almighty. Whatever efforts one puts in, however hard one tries to achieve a target, ultimately the result is decided by nature or the Omnipotent Almighty.
Embedded with many puns, the play also portrays a strong sense of morality that one should have in this age of disillusionment and discontent. The play further depicts that human beings ought to be tied with a bond of unity and friendship.
The message is conveyed to the audience through powerful dialogues, brilliant acting and the best of the scenes typical of Tulunadu culture.
Kudla Friends' team from Muscat in coordination with Majan Events Management (Group Kaleem Ent LLC) are the organizers of the event. Although this is the first theatre event being staged by Kudla Friends, the team has successfully organized sports and games events recently inviting different Mangalorean communities in Muscat which was well appreciated.
Leading Tulu drama stage performers namely Aravind Bolar, Sundar Rai Madara, Naveen Shetty Alake, Vasant Amin, Ravi Surathkal, Dharmendra Amin, Suresh Manjeshwar, Shobha Shetty and Suchetha Kavoor are featuring in this drama.
The story is written by Naveen Shetty, Alake and music is composed by Rajesh Bhat Kalavaru.
