Mumbai: Child Prodigy Ayana V Raman to Perform in Metro from May 19

Mumbai, May 17:
Ayana V Raman, child prodigy of ‘The Journey of Dance to Houses’ fame who has already staged over 150 shows across Karnataka, will stage various shows in the metro from Saturday May 19 to Saturday May 26.
 
She is a recipient of ‘Natya Mayuri’ title and was presented with Dakshina Kannada district ‘Rajyotsava Award’ in 2011 when she was 9 years of age.  She is a multi-talented child prodigy and has made her mark in music, public speaking, memory in identifying nearly 25 rhythms and repeating from memory the names of over 160 Kannada litterateurs.

 
She is the daughter of K V Raman, director, Ranga Bharati, Indian arts training centre, located in Mangalore, and lecturer Mookambika.  Ayana was specially trained in dance by Vidwan Satyanarayan Raju of Bangalore.  She is studying at Rotary English Medium School, Moodbidri, in Dakshina Kannada district.
