Canada: Mangalorean Association Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Family Social

Canada, May 28: Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) celebrated the annual Family Social 2012 recently.
This was the 10th anniversary celebration filled with gratitude and pride for all that MAC achieved as a community. In commemoration of this milestone, MAC released a souvenir book. This keepsake has tried to capture a decade of memorable moments.
An event this successful was only possible because of the generous support of a whole host of people to whom MAC extends a heartfelt gratitude.
Firstly, all those who came made it a memorable night. Live music by The Marauders rocked the house making dancing simply irresistible. Kudos to them on the Konkani numbers they performed. Ivan D’Lima - one of GTA's best emcees enthralled all with his charm and wit. DJ Rudiii’s sound and lightshow was simply electric. Jason Marques - the eye behind the lens, captured the night in pictures.
The night included an amazing dance competition with very enthusiastic participants who really proved that Mangaloreans' got Talent. Sharing the dance floor with them later felt like Dancing with the Stars! The ever talented youth dance troupe that entertains year after year - once again outdid themselves. The venue - The Grand Taj had a culinary spread that truly delighted the palette.
