Mangalore, Jun 3: Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar arranged a farewell programme to assistant parish priests, Fr John Baptist Moras who will be transferring to Bendur parish and Fr Melwyn Noronha transferring to Belthangady parish on Sunday June 3.

On the occasion parish priest Fr Valerian Pinto and parish pastoral council vice president Praveen Patrao honoured the priests.

Parish priest in his address thanked both the priests for their service.  He said, “As an assistant parish priest you are called to learn, preach and serve the people of the parish. Both priests have served the parish and followed the path of Christ.” 

Former vice presidents Sushil Noronha and Victor Vas read the citation.

Fr John Moras and Fr Melwyn Noronha thanked the parish priest, parish council member and parishioners who helped them to serve the parish.

Parish pastrol council secretary compered the programme.

Programme concluded with thanks giving mass.
