Mumbai: Konkani Basha Mandal to Organize Talent Contest on Jul 1

Mumbai, Jun 13: Konkani Basha Mandal–Maharashtra, the oldest metro-based Konkani organization will be conducting a talent contest at St Anthony parish, Malvani, Malad (West), at 3.00 pm on Sunday July 1.

The contest will be held in the sub-junior, junior, and senior divisions, with single, duet and group singing, dance, and elocution competitions.

Prizes will be distributed to the winners during ‘Konkani Divas’ held at Karnataka Sangh, Mahim, at 6.00 pm on Friday August 20.  The traditional Mangalorean cultural extravaganza as well as sumptuous food will be served on the occasion.
