I call her Strawberry, says Aaradhya's Doting Grandmother Jaya Bachchan

Mumbai, Jun 20: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, termed one the most beautiful women in the world, and camera friendly, is keeping media away from the limelight when it comes to her baby girl Aaradhya. Aaradhya Bachchan born on 16 November 2011 got her name after 4 months of speculations. Her family have remained mostly quiet about any revelations that involve the new member. But in a recent interview grandmom Jaya Bachchan talked proudly of her grandchild.
"Aishwarya is a hands-on mom. Aaradhya is not intimidated to faces. She is beautiful. I call her Strawberry because when she was born she reminded me of a strawberry. She is always smiling. Touchwood,” said Jaya Bachchan in an interview. She also says that the baby is growing up quickly and has also started to crawl.
Recently a fan spotted the mother and daughter duo doing a round of shopping. A fan has posted on a social website describing the babies eyes as “brown and with long eyelashes”.
Jaya Bachchan favours Aishwarya as a mother and says that she sometimes teases her by saying Aaradhya is lucky to have a nurse who is a Miss World. She also states that Aishwarya should go out more often as she is sometimes an overcautious mother. Jaya says that the baby resembles Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan equally.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been in the news quite often in the past couple of months as she has not shed the baby weight yet. Aishwarya was noted in an interview saying that she isn’t too stressed out or keen on shedding the post pregnancy weight yet. She is enjoying her time being with family and loves the time she gets to spend with her daughter. Asked about her comeback to films she replies by saying that if a story appeals her enough she is ready to sign up for it. She also says in an interview that life with the baby has become quieter.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was voted as Best Mother in a recent online poll.
