Los Angeles, Jul 4 (IANS): Actor Mel Gibson's step-mother Teddy Joye Hicks Gibson has filed a restraining order against the actor for threatening, spitting in her face and sabotaging her marriage.
In the documents filed by Teddy, she has claimed that Gibson and her sister Maura hate her as she does not approve of medical treatments they are forcing their father Hutton Gibson to go through to get his ailment cured, reports tmz.com.
She also wants the 56-year-old actor to stay 100 yards away from her at all times.
A California judge decided, rather than issuing a temporary restraining order, to set the matter for a full hearing. The hearing is scheduled for next month.
