Mangalore, Jul 19: “I am happy to work with this team. It is a very responsible role and a demanding character, hence need to put a high-level performance” says Sanjana, who is acting on a main role in the upcoming Kannada movie Mahanadi.

She was speaking at a press meet arranged by the movie team on Wednesday July 18 at 7.30 pm in Moti Mahal.

“This is the first time in the history of coastal area that a movie with a big budget of Rs 5 crore is being produced by the coastal people,” said the producer of the movie and the owner of Mandovi Developers, Jerry Vincent Dias. He lauded the hard work and dedication put up by the team towards this movie. Almost three-fourth of the shooting has been completed and the movie is likely to be released on Diwali, Christmas or New Year, he said.

Scarlet, an England-based actor, who is in this movie for a dance sequence, praised the team for their hospitality. She also expressed  her pleasure to work in this movie.

Suresh Uppoor, director-cum-story writer cum lyricist, while explaining about the movie, said that the movie portrays the life of a girl like a river that takes birth from a small place, flows throughout and meets the ocean and then disappears.

Jerry Vincent Dias, Glen Dias, producers, Suresh Uppoor, director and story writer, Chandrakanth Suvarna, cameraman, Scarlet, Sanjana, Narasimha, Girish, Chinni Prakash and Surya Kiran were present for the press meet.
