Mumbai: 59th Annual General Meeting of Bhandary Seva Samithi Held

Mumbai, Aug 16:
The 59th annual general meeting of Bhandary Seva Samithi was held at Swami Nithyananda hall in Sayan (West) on Sunday August 12.
 
President Balakrishna Bhandary presided over the meeting. In his presidential address, Bhandary said that the main motto of the association is to render service to the society. The association should be a role model for everyone by helping the society and as members we should not take advantage of the position when we are at a higher post, he said.


 

Bhandary said that the associations should be as powerful as a nuclear plant. “We should work together towards the betterment of the society and thus preserve our Indian culture”, he added.
 
R M Bhandary, chief secretary read the annual reports and briefed the achievements of the organization.
 
Ramesh Bhandary, treasurer kept forth the association accounts. Later 21 members were elected for the association’s executive committee for the year 2012-15.
 
Senior leaders of Bhandary community like Jaya Bhandary, Rukmayya Bhandary, Ramesh Bhandary were honoured along with the Ramanna M Bhandary and Sumitra Bhandary on completing 25 years of marriage.
 
Padmanab Bhandary, vice-president, Shekar Bhandary, Vijayanand Bhandary, Sundar G Bhandary, secretary of advisory committee, Balakrishna Puttur (Pune), Lalitha Bhandary, deputy secretary of women’s wing, Sanjeeva Bhandary, Gurudas Bhandary among others shared the dais.
