Los Angeles, Aug 19 (IANS): Actor Robert Pattinson feels it is important for an actor to constantly fight against failure and never have a laid back attitude.
"I think as soon as you feel validated, you're a bad actor. You have to constantly feel that there's a 99 percent chance of failure. Total failure. Devastating failure," mtv.com quoted Pattinson as saying.
"You should feel like every single job is the potential where you're never going to get another job again.... Because then you're in it. It's all about living in the present," he added.
The actor has been part of movies like "Harry Potter And The Order Of Phoenix" and "Remember Me" but made it big by playing vampire Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" series.
His latest release, "Cosmopolis", hit theatres Friday.
