Mumbai: Shri Mookambika Temple Distributes Free Notebooks

Mumbai, Aug 20: Shri Mookambika temple distributed free notebooks for  needy children at the temple premises here in Kalyan on Wednesday August 15.

For the last 16 years, the members and administrative committee have been distributing notebooks to the needy students.

Krishna G Poojary thanked Prabhakar Shetty, industrialist, Surendra V Shetty of Jasmine co-opereative Credit Society, Ramesh D Shetty, hotelier, Jagannath C Shetty, owner of Kalyan hotel, Prabhakar Hegde, director of Mahaveer Engineering Company in Dombivili for their whole hearted support towards the project.

Speaking on the occasion, Manjunath Shetty said that people have come from their birth place to Mumbai which is the place to work. Currently, Maharashtra is growing in all fields. He urged the people to support him.

He also said that the temple would like to take the neighboring school on lease and thus work for its development in all fields.

Rajendra Chaudary promised all his support and said that he would also help for any work from municipality. He appreciated the efforts of the temple authorities towards helping the students and lauded them with wishes.

Sanjay H Patel, NCP leader of Kalyan also spoke on the occasion.

Large number of people were present on the occasion. Notebooks to as many as 155 students were distributed .

Krishna G Poojary, president, Rajendra Chaudary from Shivasena, Vijay Supale, Shivaji Javle, Sanjay H Pateel, Prakash Vadva Kalyan, Surendra V Shetty, Jagannath V Shetty, T Prabhakar Hegde, Moodushedde Vishwanath Shetty, Dayashankar P Shetty shared the dais.

Gopal S Hegde compered and Muddhu K Kotian delivered the vote of thanks.
