Now Mahesh Bhatt's Son Forays into Bollywood

Mumbai, Sep 5 (IANS): Writer Shagufta Rafique, who has been associated with Vishesh Films for quite sometime, is set to launch filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul in her directorial debut.

"Bhatt saab and I have decided to make a kind of picture that he made for his daughter Pooja Bhatt like 'Daddy'. This will be a fresh film and will be made keeping Bhatt sir's cinema in mind. The film will be written by Mahesh Bhatt, directed by me and produced by Vikram Bhatt," Rafique told IANS.

"It is untitled and will go on floors by mid of 2013," she added.

Rahul came into the limelight when his name cropped up in connection with 2008 Mumbai terror accused David Headley. Headley had revealed in police interrogation that he had befriended Rahul in a gymnasium.

He was later roped in as a contestant in the fourth season of controversial reality show "Bigg Boss". For long Rahul was waiting to get a break in movies. And now he will be seen opposite a new girl in the film.

"We don't want to give him (Rahul) a regular launch, so we are working hard on the script. It's a new beginning for Rahul and we are looking for a new girl. As far as Rahul is concerned he is ready to be moulded," she said.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan's daughter Alia is making her debut with Karan Johar's "Student of The Year".
