Chennai, Oct 23 (IANS): National Award winning Tamil comedy "Pasanga" is all set to have a sequel.
It will be directed by cinematographer-turned-director Vijay Milton, known for his work in path-breaking films such as "Kaadhal" and "Vazhakku En 18/9".
Directed by Pandiraj, "Pasanga", released in 2009, was about the juvenile enmity between school kids and its effect on their lives. Vimal, Vega Tamotia, Sree Ram and Kishore were in the cast.
"The sequel will feature the same kids from the first part in the lead roles. The story will follow the post-adolescent life of the four kids," a source told IANS.
The film won three National Awards and other international awards, including Golden Elephant Award for the best director for Pandiraj at the 2009 International Children's Film Festival.
Pandiraj will pen the dialogues for the sequel.
