Lokayukta Special Court Admits Plea Against Eshwarappa

Bangalore, Dec 15 (PTI): The Lokayukta Special Court today admitted a plea by an advocate, charging Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa with amassing property worth crores of Rupees in the name of his family members by abusing his position.

Lokayukta Court Judge N K Sudhindra Rao admitted the plea by advocate B Vinod and asked Lokayukta police to initiate an enquiry into the matter and submit a report by Feb 4 2013.

Vinod contended that Eshwarappa had an ancestral house in Shimoga before 2006 and after assuming office in 2008, had purchased assets worth crores of Rupees, disproportionate to known sources of income in the name of his family members by abusing his position.

Eshwarappa has been named as the first accused and his son and daughter-in-law the second and third accused.

Is there any one else left now in Karnataka BJP that is not been accused of corruption.
All thought DVS was a good guy - it was the last straw when he is also accused of corruption.
Eshwarappa has become double his size after BJP came to power in Karnataka. He looks like a bull dog now.
Wow, looking at all these from CM to officials at Taluk and panchayat level amassing wealth by way of bribes, fleecing the govt. treasury, land grabbing for self and entire family members makes me think "IS THERE ANYTHING LEFT AT ALL IN KARNATAKA TO GRAB ANYMORE!!!"
This BJP is the most corrupt and shameless govt. ever governed Karnataka.
If people elect them again next time, it will be their folly.

BJP may forced to give paper ad for candidates in the forth coming election to contest in BJP ticket when we see the corruption charges are received for filing in Lokayukta and H.Court of BJP MLAs and ministers!!!!.These type of situation is unprecedented and alien to Karnataka! We usually enjoyed when such kind of charges were filed in the court against Bihar and UP politicians. Some are how Karnataka can't be beaten in this regard near future.
