Mangalore, Dec 19: Kerala chief minister Omman Chandi, minister for food and civil supplies, consumer protection, registration Anoop Jacob awarded the Vishista Sevarathna Award to Ronnie Gonsalves, senior superintendent of irrigation department in Thalassery for translating Bible based Konkani fiction 'Jenthilacho Apostale So Paulos' to Malayalam, by the title 'Vijathiyarude Aposthalan Vishudha Paulos'.

He received the award during the silver jubilee celebration of Latin Catholic Aikya Vedi’s.
