M'lore: Foundation Stone Laid for New Boys’ Hostel at Pastoral Institute, Bajjodi

Mangalore, Dec 23: The foundation stone laying ceremony for the new boys’ hostel was held at Pastoral Institute, Bajjodi on Sunday December 23.

One of the projects of post centenary silver jubilee of Mangalore diocese was building a hostel for poor rural boys in Mangalore. This project came to realization by the generosity of Msgr Lesly Shenoy who gave Rs 65 lac donation for the project.

Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza blessed the foundation stone and Msgr Lesly Shenoy laid the foundation stone.
 
Fr Vincent Monteiro, director of Pastoral Institute welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks.
 
Bishop thanked Msgr Lesly Shenoy for his generosity.
 
Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director Fr Muller Charitable Institution, and the priests of Pastoral institute were present on the occasion.
