Wonder regrets not seeing daughter get proposed

Los Angeles, Feb 5 (IANS): Singer Stevie Wonder says he regrets not being present at the moment her daughter Aisha Morris got proposed for marriage.

The 62-year-old interrupted his Super Bowl event performance, which was being held at Bud Light Hotel in New Orleans, to announce the news.

"Stevie said he wanted her fiance to re-propose to her so her father could hear it. It was a lovely moment," a witness told nypost.com.

Morris, 26, is Wonder's backing singer and is said to be his inspiration behind the song "Isn't she lovely" from 1976 album "Songs."
