Salalah, Feb 13 : India Social Club, Karnataka Wing, Salalah, Saltanate of Oman, Recently conducted a Get Together for its memebers and their family at indoore auditorium of Indian Social Club Premises on 18th Jan 2013.
A well organised evening was attended by more than 300 memebers and their families.The evening was a Fun filled with its memebers preesented a variety of cultural programmes.
Reggie Rosario convenor of the wing welcomed the gathering and stressed the need of all memebers to gather regularly to get some relief from their busy schedules.Mr. M P Mandanna ,the ex president of Indian Social Club, Salalah was the Chief Guest.
The cultural events started with its ladies memebers Uma Kulkarni, Suvarna Kumbar, Veena Rohit Hegde, Suchitra Jagdhish Nayak,Sanjana Jagadhish Nayak,Roopa Kiran Bannur.Aishwarya Haragoppad and Gowri Kulkarni - -dance Hachhevu Kannadada Deepa - --followed by a Group song Jaya Bharatha Jananiya Tanujathe by - P Ramdas Kamath, Dr,Upadhyaya, Raghavendra Maiya, Girish Kulkarni, Ashwin raj, Narasimha Nayak , Radhika Kamath,Anita Upadhyaya, Shobha Maiya, Pushpa Poojari , Jayalaxmi and Sumana prabhu.
The Young Boys presented Kuladalli Melyvudoo huchhappa dance number from the film Sathya Hariscgandra.
Shobha Maiya presented a Funny News with group. Halli Haida skit from Mr, Girish Kulkarni and Prem Kumar, Marali Yavvanna skit from Miss Sudheshna Prabhu, Mr and Mrs.Ganapathi Shettigar, Mr and Mrs.Girish Kulkarni and Prem Kumar. Song Nodamma Hudugi from film Premaloka from P Ramdas kamath and group, diredted by Mr, Ravikumar Patil - -the roll Juhi from Mr,Jeetendra and group as students.Miss Nidhi Vasudev Rao presented a Bhartha Natya.
Bhootha Kola Highlight of the evening was presented by Jagadhish Bangera and group, which was enjoyed and applauded by all the memebers gathered. surprise prizes inbetween the programmes was there,
The show was anchored by Ramdas Kamath, Moodabidri.
H.S. Subramanya gave vote of thanks and kw committee memebers, Inna Krishna moorthy, Vijay Poojari, Girish Kulkarni, Dinesh Kulkarni, Sridhar Bangera all were there, and the evening was concluded by a delicious dinner provided by local restaurant Udupi Deluxe.
