Mumbai, Feb 16: Bollywood stars attending weddings and performing live (sometimes even item numbers) is a common trend among the rich. Sometimes there is stiff competition between the rich business tycoons on inviting top stars. Some invite dozens of film stars or cricketers as 'guests' but pay for their appearance. This is not a secret.

Now, according to a leading English daily from Mumbai, Salman Khan has been offered a hefty amount Rs 3.5 crore just to make a special appearance at a posh wedding party. If it's true, one wonders what may be the total cost of the wedding. Nevertheless, in this world of cut-throat competition, such a trend will only raise the demand of bollywood stars attending private parties of the rich.

It is learnt that the details of the wedding have been kept secret, and sources said that it was a gala ceremony that could give a Bollywood big fat wedding a run for its money.

The daily newspaper from Mumbai reports, “It was such a lavish affair that it could put some of the biggest B-Town shaadis to shame. They had games like Housie and they had prizes like high-end luxury cars and air tickets for two to Paris for winners.”
