Dr K Mohandas Bhandary installed as state convener of BJP medical cell

Mangalore, Feb 20: Dr Kailkere Mohandas Bhandary of Mangalore was installed as the State Convener of BJP Medical Cell at a function held at BJP State Headquarters Auditorium, Bangalore recently. The state Health Minister Aravind Limbavali inaugurated the newly created Medical Cell, which represents Allopathic, Ayush and other medical practitioners, paramedics, chemists and druggists, medical representatives, D Group employees and other medical and healthcare workers.

With over 40 years of service in healthcare, education and health services, Dr Bhandary is an accomplished leader having a unique perspective and style of functioning.

At the BJP special session held on February 16 at Bangalore attended by Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar and other leaders like Ananth Kumar and Eeshwarappa, Dr Bhandary made his first formal presentation highlighting the problems and challenges facing medical sector along with his suggestions and solutions. Dr Bhandary has also nominated 36 District Conveners (List attached) and solicited everyone’s co-operation.

A renowned family doctor, Dr Kailkere Mohandas Bhandary is a member of national level Central Working Committee (CWC) of Indian Medical Association (IMA), vice president of Karnataka state IMA and a member of the Karnataka Medical Council representing Non Teachers Constituency.

He was the Founder President of Family Doctors Association (R), Mangalore and has also served as the president of IMA Mangalooru Branch. He is actively involved in a wide range of social and cultural activities.
