London, Feb 22 (IANS): Music mogul Simon Cowell has reportedly decided to sack singer Tulisa Contostavlos from the judges' panel of British version of reality show "The X Factor".
The singer, whose debut album "The Female Boss", failed to make an impact recently, has shared the judging panel with Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh.
"Quite apart from her performance on last year's show, you can't have a singer whose album only reached Number 35 in the charts sitting in judgment on other singers," a source said.
"Tulisa has been on the panel for two years. She had a good run, but all good things come to an end," the source added.
Cowell is expected to make an official announcement soon.
