Mangalore: JD(S) kicks off election campaign for MCC polls

Mangalore, Mar 1: JD(S), under the leadership of its state vice-president B Nagaraj Shetty and A Sadananda Shetty flagged off its campaign on Thursday February 28 from Falnir JD(S) office in preparation for the forthcoming MCC election which will commence on Thursday March 7.

The JD(S) Dakshina Kannada unit started its canvassing under the banner ‘Badalavanegagi’, asking people to vote for change by electing their party.

Many JD(S) party leaders and supporters gathered at the JD(S) party office and later moved to Milagres ward houses along with Milagres ward candidate Habib Khader urging people to vote for the JD(S) party to bring change in the city.

Shashiraj Shetty, Chittaranjan Rai, Sureshchandra Shetty, Gopalkrishna Attavar, Vasanth Poojary, Aslam, and Akshith Suvarna  were among those present on the occasion.

    Forget about development or change.What we can expect from these communals.None of the candidate is capable of speaking clean Kannada/Tulu to explain the voters what is their so called motto.JDS in Mangalore is centred on single person Nagaraj Shetty....Congress is far better than JDS which is purely communal.You can believe even Muslim league but not Deve Gowda's JDS.People beware....

    FOR THE CHANGE, IS THE SLOGAN OF J.D.S.FOR CORPORATION VOTE. WHAT CHANGES WE CAN EXPECT FROM THEM CAN THEY EXPLAIN? FAST GROWING CITY HAVE NO FOOTPATHS,PUBLIC TOILETS.CITY BUSES ARE RACING,NO PLACE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS IN BUSES YOUNGSTERS WHO OCCUPIE THE SEAT NEVER GET UP AND OFFER THE SEAT TO ELDERLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE STAND THROUGH .NO CIVIC SENSE PREVAILS AMONG US.WILL J.D.S CHANGE THIS?
