LeAnn Rimes dismisses dental malpractice lawsuit

Los Angeles, April 28 (IANS): Singer LeAnn Rimes has dropped a lawsuit against a dentist, who allegedly didn't handle her dental problems properly, leaving her singing career affected.

Rimes, 30, asked a judge to dismiss the case against Duane C. McKay without prejudice, reports radaronline.com.

However, a source revealed “this is not the end of the case.”

Rimes underwent nine root canals, a tooth extraction, bone grafting and a variety of other unpleasantries while being treated by McKay over three years.

She had sued the dentist for damages that included lost income as she was unable to perform.
