Actress Tanushree Dutta to be back in films


Mumbai, Apr 29 (PTI): Model-turned-actress Tanushree Dutta of Aashiq Banaya Apne fame is looking to be back on the big screen soon.

She made her debut with Aashiq Banaya Apne in 2005 alongside Emraan Hashmi and Ashmit Patel and later appeared in films like Chocolate, Good Boy Bad Boy and Dhol. The 29- year-old's last film was Rokkk in 2010.

"I am working out on my body and getting in shape. I had taken a break from work (films) and became like a football," Tanushree said at an event here last night.

Asked about her comeback, the former Miss India, who has also worked in films in the south, said "It is work in progress, things will happen soon."

After Tanushree was not seen in films, it was reported that she was exploring the spiritual aspects of life and her journey took her to the ashrams of South India and also Buddhist monasteries of Ladakh in the North.
