Don't allow SRK inside stadium: MCA writes to Mumbai Police

Mumbai, May 7 (PTI): The Mumbai Cricket Association has informed a local police station to prevent Kolkata Knight Riders principal owner Shah Rukh from entering the stadium, when his team takes on Mumbai Indians, here.

"We wrote a letter to Marine Lines police station today asking them not to allow Shah Rukh Khan inside the stadium (when Kolkata Knight Riders play Mumbai Indians). This was after the police had asked us to send a letter to that effect," MCA president Ravi Savant told reporters here.

The Bollywood superstar was banned for five years from entering MCA premises, including the Wankhede Stadium, by the Association's Managing Committee, headed by the late Vilasrao Deshmukh, on May 18 last year, after he was involved in a skirmish with security staff and officials of the cricket body following KKR's victory over MI two nights earlier.

Shah Rukh, however, denied he had misbehaved and maintained he reacted only after children, including his kids, were "manhandled" by the security staff at the stadium.

Meanwhile, it has been learnt that security personnel have been told by the authorities not to allow SRK inside the premises.

Who wants to go inside this ghati stadium? Ghati's have proved that they are dirty ghati's during IPL matches. Vilas Rao Deshmukh, big thug. What is the credibility of this corrupt politician? Luckily he is no more otherwise he would have looted more for his future generation.

He deserved this for his sheer arrogance! He goes around as 'King Khan' and 'Badshah'...But now he has got the taste of his own medicine! He's always been the arrogant spoilt brat who has a blown-up image about himself and his films. His said sorry after he was banned. May be thinking that no one can touch him. But realization dawned a little late that he too was treated just as any normal cricket fan coming to watch cricket. One victory, he and his team went berserk. But this year, the same team is finding difficult to hold on last three spots. Sports is a cruel discipline. It can take one to the pinnacle of glory today and push him down to the abyss tomorrow. Ultimate leveler and KKR and SRK have learnt it hard way...

Mitwa...in India only terrorists/criminals/rapists are being pardoned as they are esteemed guests of our politicians. Only silly mistakes are unpardonable in India. They pardoned those criminals who dig the Wankhede pitch..
