Little Mix members inspired from 1990's fashion

London, May 31 (IANS): Little Mix band members say their fun and fearless style comes from growing up in the 1990's.

The four member band includes Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.

"It's colourful, it's fun, it's just what we're about," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Nelson as saying.

Edwards added: "I like the shapes, I like high-waist jeans, I like high-waist denim skirts, I like cropped tops, and whenever I look at pictures of me as a baby with my mum, I just think everything she wears is amazing. I'm obsessed with the stuff my mum used to wear, so maybe it's that."

The girls band was the first to win "The X Factor" in 2010. They are big fans of American teen sitcoms. When they were younger they admired the character of Kelly Kapowski played by Tiffani Thiessen in "Saved by the Bell".

Pinnock said: "The 1990s are just cool, it's just the best era ever for everything. TV shows - 'Kenan and Kel', 'Sister Sister', 'Saved by the Bell'... Just everything about it."
