Los Angeles, Jun 26 (IANS): Socialite Kim Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner loves the unique name of her newborn granddaughter North West.

"I love the name North," thesun.co.uk quoted Kris as saying.

She added: "North means highest power and she (Kim) says that North is their highest point together, and I thought that was really sweet."

Kim gave birth to her first child, a baby girl, with rapper-boyfriend Kanye West June 15. She delivered the baby five weeks before her scheduled delivery date.
