Johnny Depp wants to frame his tattoos as memoir

Los Angeles, Jul 8 (IANS): Actor Johnny Depp has revealed that he would love to stretch and frame his tattoos when he dies to preserve a memory for his children.

The 50-year-old actor originally wanted his death to "entertain people", but now he wants to save his body art for future generations to see, reports contactmusic.com.

"I originally wanted to be just tossed over a mountain so that people could watch it bounce. Might as well entertain people," The Times Magazine quoted Depp as saying. The actor has two-children with ex-girlfriend, French actress Vanessa Paradis.

"Or maybe just save the tattoos. Because it might revolutionise what happens after death. Take a guy's tattoos off, make formaldehyde frames where it's preserved and stretched out and stuff - that doesn't sound gruesome at all, does it?

"No. That's not at all serial killer. That's totally cool. Can you imagine? 'What are those?' 'Oh, that's my dad's tattoos all over that wall'," he added.
