M'lore: Clubs and house inaugurated at St Aloysius High School

Mangalore, Aug 3: On July 30 at 1 pm the inaugural of all the clubs at the St Aloysius High School took place. Eric Correa was the chief guest. 

Eric Correa and headmaster Fr Edward Rodrigues assistant headmaster Gopalakrishna S were escorted to the hall by the band. All the four houses were inaugurated.


The leaders and the members took an oath led by the headmaster. The chief guest spoke on the importance of co-curricular activities in the school. The students secretary Prashobitha Prabhakar welcomed the gathering. Then there was a presentation and entertaining programme by each club. All 21 clubs presented beautiful items to the audience. The Gavel club members anchored the programme so well, that everyone was taken up by their performance.

The programme ended at 4.15 pm with the band followed by vote of thanks and National Anthem. The students and staff were given sweets in honour of the feast of St Ignatius of Loyola.
